COMCAST IS A F-IN MONOPOLY
I have never had the worst customer service, and in person at Comcast
She was about as helpful as a salted slug in sh*t.
I am so F-IN pissed off right now at them, if I didnt need Olberman or the
History channel, and the internet, I would have told them to F OFF

1. No, they are really a freakin monopoly!
I have been pissed at them for a while now. One of my cable boxes went out the day I was laid up after surgery! Then my HD channels went out for 3 days. :wtf: Seriously!

3. We have not had internet service for nearly two weeks.

I just changed to Verizon dsl today.

Once I get the new internet service, I'll change to satellite tv. Screw Comcast

It was literally the most frustrating time of my life...seriously.

5. I've had a comcast cable running across the back of my yard for...
over a year now. They actually came by and REPLACED it once. Runs from the post in my yard to the neighbors' place. I've been very careless with the lawnmower but so far I haven't managed to cut it.

If I want satellite teevee, I have a choice. (Not much of one, but...)

Since de-regulation in the '80s, I can choose my telephone service provider, and of course my ISP.

Why does the government still allow the cable industry to dictate which provider I must use depending on my address? What happened to the free market the Republics love so much?

8. I'm comcast free and yet I get this $75 bill for from them
During my move I had moved my TV set the first night and about 2 weeks later I went to the local comcast store to drop off my digital cable. I told the lady I was cancelling my service and returning my digital cable box. I swore up and down I made that statement in the clearest english I know and her head was in agreement when I said - you are going to terminate my service please.

That was over a MONTH ago. I had even paid off the remaining part of my bill to the lady at the counter and she stated that my account was closed & paid off.

Here it turns out it wasn't turned off. I mean no one is actually living at the address for well over a month so how do I get a massive bill from these idiots.

And customer service? Well I had to call them but I'd have better look getting a response from the lil desk gnome on my computer

10. I highly recommend Dish Network
best thing about it, I'm on the west coast but get lots of shows on east coast time. So I get Olberman at 5 PM(which I record and watch when I get home from work at 6:30 ish), Daily Show at 8 PM and Colbert at 8:30. I have no life of course, due to watching these shows every night.

11. I wish I had the words to describe how much Comcast sucks.
Sh*tty customer service and the contractors that do their service calls don't know what the f*ck they are doing! People don't return phone calls, broken promises, straight up lies, you name it. Comcast is absolutely the worst company I have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with.

I feel your pain, I'm right there with ya.
