The Positive Thread
Post something positive...something uplifting. I know I'll get a lot of replies with pics of batteries and elevators; but they're ok too. :D

You would think that the way things are, and the way things are going, that people would spend more time trying to cultivate happiness. Thanks for the thread.

Older son has begun counseling of his own volition, and is paying for it himself. :-)

I've been very busy this week with kiddie concerts in the mornings and opera rehearsals/performances in the evenings. In between, I've been teaching my younger son, so he doesn't get behind in school. I'm really looking forward to a break next week! :-)

Or do you get tired of endless Christmas cantatas and Oratorios?

I go to the Ren/Baroque Society Christmas concert here every year, and I can't wait to see what cool thing they will do.

I think I've seen Piffaro more times than I can count!

We each walk away from each other, then turn around. You now wait to see who will yell first, and then run at each other and fall into a tickle/pile/hug and laugh yourself silly. Repeat as needed.

I love it.

41. I love watching my dog eat his dog food.
I know it sounds silly, but it is just one of those "smell the roses" moments for me. It' just so serene and warming.

Sometimes he catches me watching, and then he stops chewing and stares at me like "What?" "WHAT?" It's so comical, and heartwarming.

after I'd been inspired with the idea of writing about them.

I'd gone through a phase of googling for trees; and I thought it would be so cool to travel around the country in search of characters to write about.

I love this book! :-)

46. My dear GoddessOfGuinness!
Here's a positive quote that I like:

Finish each day and be done with it;

You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can.

Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with old nonsense.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said it!

:woohoo:
