Do you have any idea of how difficult it is for me to not respond to that post with a ridiculously inappropriate comment?

Especially when I'm not completely awake.

16. Understandable
I read your threads. Please do yourself a big favor and kick his ass out. I know you have feelings for him but he is mentally abusing you. I've been together with a guy that mentally abused me. Fortunately I didn't live togethter with him but I paid my fee so to speak. It took me some time to figure out what was going on but I never regretted the day I said "Bye bye". I started losing myself. And that isn't worth it.

18. My "day" is just about over, and I'm damn happy with it!
I got up around 3:00, made coffee and did some laundry...

I re-arranged the living room to bring two habañero plants inside
by the window until the spring, and created 2 new hidey-spots
for the kittehs in the process, which they seem to approve of...

I made Sweetie a tasty supper that fit her new dietary-wishes when she got home,
so good she asked for seconds...(a 4-pepper medley in spicy brown sauce,
served in a baked spaghetti-squash "bowl")

Got caught up on last night's sitcoms with her, until her bedtime...

I wrapped $3.00 in pennies and used them to buy myself a bottle of cheap hooch
at the gas station up the street around 1:30...

And then, around 4:30, I made my homemade secret-recipe, double-spicy "spicy apple crisp"
for Sweetie to take to work and share with her friends tomorrow (today).
I just took it out of the oven, and left a note on the door to tell her
it's there. It's a SURPRISE for her to find, when she gets up in an hour.

So, that was my day. Nothing terribly exciting by some folks' standards,
but I'm happy with it.

And now it's just about done. GOODNIGHT, DU! :hi:

27. Good morning Simply!!
:hi:

Same here, I had troubles getting out of bed this morning even though I had enough sleep. Must be the weather. Now I had my lunchbreak and am tried again or still. Can't really divide it ... LOL

Regarding my cold it seems to get better. I really hope it stays that way. My co-worker is sick now. But she didn't get it from me but from her own family. I'm off the hook there ... LOL

:loveya:  :hi:

I do have those feelings every now and then as well. So far I haven't managed to be someone else. Question is, do we really want to be someone else with their problems??? I think I prefer my problems.

34. You're right
I once had a friend that I thought was perfect, such poise and all that. Thought it would be great to "be her." Then I found out how tough her earlier life had been. But she'd just ploughed her way through it all to make it to the other side.
Off to work. :hi:

38. Bored and frustrated and angry
with the whole human species. Except my husband, because he rocks.

But seriously, everyone else - lately I've been driving by churchs with stupid church signs and thinking, "I'm so beyond this stupid species. I want to be like the elves in LOTR and go off somewhere else to hang out with the trees and read books and not have to deal with humans anymore."

Back when we were into LOTRO for a while, I'd read suggestions about roleplaying an elf and it sounded like I could just be me and pass as an excellent roleplayer.

Of course now we're back into WoW, where the elves just get sexually harassed. Sigh.
