How do I post my own pictures within, please?

I've waited quite a while to ask this question, have a macintosh, and it isn't really covered under the "help" section very well for me, upon going there.

1. My dear MrMickeysMom!

OK...first you will need to sign up with a photo hosting site...

I use PhotoBucket.

Their accounts are free, I believe...

You will see a Browse place...

Hit that...

It will bring up your picture files...

Then you pick out the picture you want, and hit "open"...

Eventually, you hit upload, and presto, there's your picture in the photobucket!

You'll most likely need to downsize your picture before posting it,and they will give you a place to do that...

Then cut and paste ...

And here you will be!

I've been doing it so long now that I had to stop and think about it!

I actually pay Photobucket something, just to avoid the ads, and to allow me unlimited storage...

But it was a long time before I did that...

4. Yup- what Cali-P said!

I use PhotoBucket as well- it really is just about as easy
to use as can be.

Once your pics are there, you just open PhotoBucket in a seperate
tab, click the link they provide for a pic, and then paste
that link into your DU message.

(They limit the bandwidth on the free accounts, but the limit is HUGE.
I had a thread here with 30 pics that got 3000 views once, and that still
didn't hit the limit.)

Yes, I really do have to update MMM's website.

He and his sister (Mallory) look alike and were found abandoned on top of a roof in San Antonio when we lived there in 96. Alas, he is asleep now as it not even 5 AM and I'm the one wih who couldn't sleep in the house.
