Midwest Clay Guild in Evanston
Announces 35th Annual Show and Sale
November 16-18, 2007 Featuring 12 potters and ceramic artists
35th Annual Exhibition and Sale, which will take place from Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18, 2007, at the Guild's studio facility, located at 1236 Sherman Avenue in Evanston, Illinois. The opening reception will be held Friday, November 16 from 6-9pm, with weekend hours on Saturday, November 17 from 11am-6pm and Sunday, November 18 from Noon-5pm.
Twelve artists will comprise this year's sale with a variety of ceramics, glass, paintings, and jewelry. Guild artists are- Mo Cahill of Rogers Park, Mary Seyfarth of Highland Park, and Dana Shearin of Evanston. We welcome new members Victor Boyer of Roselle, Jeff Donelan of Evanston, and Kimberly Jones, raised on the north shore, returning to Evanston after 9 years in Petoskey, MI. Guest artists are potter and School of the Art Institute Professor Delorus Fortuna, of Galena, long time Evanston resident and award winning potter Richard Cohen, Guild alumni Wyatt Lane of Evanston, potter and stained glass artist Stephanie Marder of Chicago, glass artist and gallery owner Rose Jarecki of Downers Grove and metalsmith/jeweler Susan Franker of Joliet.

i talked to him a while back. he moved to a newer, nicer spot, just around the corner from the old place. seems to be doing ok, keeping the doors open and all. you should come out to see our show and say hi to him. are you still in the area?

try to stay away from the dogs, tho. got a great new greek place down here on clark street called big buns and pita. great, great food.
i don't think i can live any where but chicago.
