We did dirty lil secrets yesterday.

Time for the opposite.

Remember in order for anyone to be nominated for Sainthood there has to be 2 confirmed miracles (or for our case - good deeds, unless it's true that Midlo really can turn wine into water)

1. I nominate my husband, JCMach1
First miracle: Running for office against a wealthy Repub incumbent, putting all his heart and soul into it when he had no chance... Second... Using his position as academic advisor to one of the sons of the President of the country we now live in to promote ideas about social justice and evironmental responsibilty. I swear sometimes JC makes me laugh in astonishment at his guts and his absolute commitment to progressive ideas.

Good enough?

6. I nominate ME:
Called at 11:00 p.m. to help move a good friend's fiancee 200 miles to new apartment the next morning. All six people who were going to help her move bailed out, and my friend was in grad school in another state. So it was the two of us and all her stuff at 7:00 a.m.

Drove through a blizzard and closed highways, in the black of night, to tend to friends' animals. The friends were stuck on a runway in Florida, the entire east coast was shut down (from the storm I got to drive through), their house-sitter had left the day before, and our friends were supposed to be back already. It took us several hours to travel 50 miles, but we found, fed, watered, and gave warm blankets to all indoor and barn animals.

I have more. Many more. Essentially, if everyone else bails out, I get the call to make it happen.
