Do you have an amusing Amway/Quixtar story?
Hi. I have a relatively new blog about Amway and how it corrupts the nation's politics as awell as how it victimizes people. http://destroyamway.blogspot.com In my latest post, I write my Amway experiences and tell people to include theirs in the comments section. If you have an amusing or tragic Amway experience, please go to the site and tell us about it. Thanks in advance.

1. Amway laundry detergent used to be the BEST bong cleaner.
:hippie: :P Can't remember the name, don't know if they still make it haven't seen Amway in 20 years. Not talking about LOC, just the laundry detergent.

2. Well, that is definitely a winner! Betsey DeVos, Amway Founder wife...has kids who are having SEX!!
Heh.

Betsy is a RePIG of the first order.

Her kids are entitled brats who wipe their tushes with dollar bills. BUT....her kids sneak out of the house to have SEX!

And yeah...Bets has a nanny-cam installed. She treats her "servants" like dirt and she spies on her kids because she is never home.

5. yeah the whole thing was pretty creepy
too church/cult like for me - not that I have anything against cults, but they need to include some fun like taking hallucinogens, orgies, blowing stuff up, or animal sacrifice ya know?

7. From what I gather...there is lots of that stuff going on.
I used to live in Grand Rapids and I know someone on the "inside".

These are not good people. Sadistic and cruel. And....very VERY wealthy.

6. Same here.
I got involved to help a friend. I ended up threatening his sponsor to take his born again AMWAY brainwashing crap and shove it and if he ever called me again, I'd wash his mouth out with their soap. I heard later that the AMWAY people who lived in town I lived in where that happened actually ended up suing AMWAY. I also just read that AMWAY is suing any past members who "slander" them online. They already sued a few people and won.

9. The only thing worse than an Amway sales-person
...is a door-to-door Amway sales-person, who's also a Jehovah's Witness.

10. our boss got my husband to try it
needless to say, I freaked when hubbie told me he was going to do it. Obviously it didn't last long. Went to a meeting where they also held a prayer, and I walked out. I do have to say their make up, (whole facial care line) and laundry detergent are awesome though. Bastards.

11. Several, but here's the best:
Mrs. Rat's father was an engineer at NASA (he designed structures for the ISS and was supposed to go up on a shuttle mission, but was hamstrung by his poor eyesight). While riding high at NASA, he was approached by a family member to sell Amway. Now, Mrs. Rat's dad has just gotten his PhD., he has his dream job at NASA, and he just might become an astronaut. The Amway-selling family member scribbles a figure on a piece of paper, slides it over to Mrs. Rat's dad and says, "How'd you like to be making THAT per year?" Mrs. Rat's dad's response, "I already make more than that. In my dream job."

12. My dad used to sell Amway back in the 70s
he ended up losing his real job (I think he used company time to make a pitch to someone), and lost his investment. Anyway, he once took me to an Amway retreat. It was very weird. Tons of brainwashed Amway zombies standing on their chairs screaming as the theme to Rocky blared over the speakers. And then there was some former drug addict (I can't believe I don't remember his name), but he had this song called "Keep on Keepin' On" that was their "anthem" and I must have heard that song 400 times in three days.
