iPod Touch
discuss.

I just got one as my early Christmas gift and it's pretty cool, I must admit. :D It's nice having tunes while I'm out on a bike ride.

:hi:

1. I don't have the iPod touch, but
I do have the iPhone. Same touch technology. And I LOVE it.

4. We've got about a year left on our cell phone contract
otherwise I would've considered going with the iPhone. Is it true, though, that the iPhone doesn't have the capacity to buy and download songs right from iTunes onto your phone? That's a pretty cool-o feature that the iTouch has.

Glad you're having fun with your new little toy. I sure am, too! :hi:

7. Not any more!
They've already added (via free download) the ability to buy and download songs from iTunes from the phone. You have to be in a wi-fi zone to do it though.

They still haven't figured out a way for that little feature to apply to TV shows and movies, though I'm sure we'll have that capability before tooooo long. ;)

3. The WiFi attracts me the most
I have my Nano for play, I would probably not use it for movies, but the WiFi option is very enticing.

6. yeah, the wifi is a very cool feature.
but I recently learned that the battery gets used up a bit faster if you don't disengage the wifi when you're not using it. Not a big deal, but worth noting.

8. Very true.
If I leave the WiFi on the phone all day, the battery's nearly dead within 12 hours, even if I'm not using it. But then again, I'm in WiFi zones nearly all the time, so it's not horribly surprising.

9. Got mine on my birthday, September.....
I absolutely love it! My husband, the gift giver, is thrilled that I use it so much. I work in a school that has wifi and I move from room to room, meaning I never had my computer available to look up kids grades and progress. With this I can have their info at my fingertips anytime.

I also love the music, photo's and the webapps which are bookmarkable and can be seen at the apple website at www.apple.com/webapps. I now have games etc. for those waiting at the doctor, in line at the bank, or whatever.

I was waiting for all the features of the iphone without the phone because I hate talking on the phone and a 60 some dollar monthly bill would be a waste for me.
