I got an upsetting PM (several in the past). What I'm talking about is where a person can change "Options" and the "Preferences" to not "allow other registered users to send you private messages?" Ever since I learned of this setting I've been torn. I want to hear from friends on DU, but I hate the occasional unexpected confrontation someone will hurl at me via the PM function. And, no "alert" is not an option, because they aren't really bad enough to be alerted. These PM's I'm talking about are just mind games... just enough to mess with a person's mental well-being. OK. Enough said, I think! :hi:
