I get Pizza Hut for dinnah tonight...
Veggie Lover's with Stuffed Crust. :9

Indulge me, I've had a hellish week full of a nasty cold and midterms and financial stress and getting up at 6am M-F, etc, etc... x(

Yay for pizza! :woohoo:

And being sick makes me super hungry, compared to when I am well. Weird, that.

:hi:

1. Is it weird?
I was the same way when I got over my cold... ravenous!

And I love the veggie pizza. :9

I don't know what I want for dinner tonight... I'm thinking Mexican.

7. That would have been my other choice.
But, when my local place delivers, they always get the order wrong, and I didn't feel like walking. :P

2. Nothing wrong with that.
I hope you're feeling better soon.

We are trying whole wheat pasta tonight for the first time. My daughter has decided she going to try and cut white flour and sugar from her diet and no red meat or chicken either for awhile so i decided i'd try it with her.

3. Whole grain pasta isn't much different from other stuff, from what I can tell.
I'd be curious to know if you can even tell the difference.

4. i read the side panels of the boxes and the only difference i saw was about 30 less

9. is that issue with all pasta or just the whole wheat kind?
i normally don't have texture issues but after having jellyfish a few weeks ago i really do not want to have that texture issue again.

11. My only issue was with whole wheat, but
it could have been an issue of cooking quality too, I don't remember. I can't tolerate over or under cooked pasta, but I seem to remember a distinct texture difference, regardless. I don't really have any other texture issues, as far as I know, other than mealy tomatoes. I'm more of a flavor issue person. :D

16. It does have a slightly
more dense bite to it but with the right sauce, it's not a big deal and you do get used to it.

I've found when making changes like that in my diet, it helps not to have the regular stuff for awhile so that when I do then eat the new stuff, it tastes just as good like my taste buds have forgetten what the other stuff tasted like.

x(

Eh, it'll be even more satisfying then, and a certain someone just passed out on the other couch :D

I feel ok right now...The raging sore throat went away overnight, I refused to take cold meds today, b/c I didn't want to be loopy for my Econ Development midterm, so I spent most of my day sniffling, sneezing, and coughing. Good times. :P

I feel pretty decent at the moment. I'll rest this weekend, promise.

Do what you like, I always say, and screw the rest.

Myself, I can't stand Pizza Hut. It's the crust. Too damn greasy. But, to each his (or her) own.

for dinner tonight. Usually get Hungie Howie's but I think he went down to PH for a beer and brought home some pizza for dinner. He sold his car and got a moped so he can't go too far. It's keeping warm...oooh time for KO and pizza!

18. That's ok...
We have that or Domino's or various local places that are of variable and dubious quality overall. At least with Pizza Hut, I know what I'm getting. And yes, it is greasy, I agree.

22. I live in a small town
Pizza Hut is all we have. When I get that "gotta have a Pizza" feeling, it's my only choice. I eat it. I've certainly eaten worse things in my life. It's just - given the choice, I much prefer places with a more doughy, bready crust.

If you've ever had a good pizza at a place that has one of those stone ovens...and the crust is nice and bready without being greasy....ooooh, to DIE for! :)

When they hired Rush Limbaugh to do a commercial for them it forever finished me for Pizza Hut.

I'll make an allowance for it, this time though, because you're sick.

Edited for sounding snotty; not my intention.
