Whew! I've made it back to DU

What you're seeing here is a culmination of an entire day's work.

My computer died yesterday at about 8:00 p.m. and I'm composing this message from a brand new PC, constucted from individual pieces that I bought this morning. A whole day of building, installing, configuring, testing and exploring.

My dialup connection sucks, I'm using IE :puke: and I've got some major work ahead of me to restore my preferences and reclaim my precious applications from the old machine.

But I'm on.

(meaning no internet), but I could still play spider solitaire, then the COMPUTER went out, but I could still do the treadmill, then the treadmill went out. So my entire world was for shit.
