My home was just invaded!

I keep windows and doors opened this time of year during day. I was in the kitchen playing with real hot grease, so I was focused on that.

I heard a buzz and didn't give it much thought as I messed with the oil.

When I was done I looked up for the blowfly I heard and there was about 20 bees flying around my head. I turned stove off and ran to bedroom. There were 30 bees there too. I ran outside and opened the windy side windows from outside.

Its now about 10 minutes later and they are gone.

I'm usually not scared of stuff like that but I was freakin the fuck out! lol

I would have been unable to function, I think. I would have wrangled some neighbors to deal with it.

Believe me! I've thought and thought on it :P

A few guesses...
-Queen went looking for strange and passed through.
-Their home was burnt by raiding farmers and they were relocating
-It was a scouting party for the REAL swarm
-Bees migrate?
-They like the smell of rendered pig fat with peanut-butter
-I need a bath
-Dogs dug em up
-It is gonna get real cold soon so they all were told to go outside and play

In the summer at night when bored we actually used to put a lamp in the middle of floor with a bare bulb then sit on the couch and shoot Moths as they flew in.

I've grown up since.
