1. Well I understand if you don't want them...
but why pour them down the sink? Don't you know anyone else who might like them?

I've only gotten properly drunk on wine twice in my life. The only "day after day" for me with wine is *maybe* one glass...

Sorry you feel so bad...

5. My experience is it should take three days
Drinking should be a reward, not punishment.

I drank heavily every day for twenty years. I still enjoy beer, but getting blotto every night lost it's appeal.

In all seriousness, if you need to quit completely, then please do so. Good luck.

8. oh yeah . . .
i don't ever want a repeat of last nite's wine binge.

back to coke zero and sparkling water for me. i'm a lightweight when it comes to drinking anyway - so my body is definitely scolding me today.

6. can I just bludgeon you?
I don't like guns.

How about pepper spray, would that work?

Alcohol is not a good way to grieve IMO, but supposedly it creates a "buzz" up to a point.

I think some people do it day after day, because the first drink is a "cure" for what the last bout of drinking did to you.

7. yes - by all means . . .
bludgeoning, pepper spray - whatever it takes.

and you're correct - alcohol only makes things worse......

the thought of having another glass of wine right now definitely turns my stomach.

it's coke zero all the way now.

i keep telling myself how much better i'll be feeling tomorrow.

15. I think you should be drinking water
If you are hung over, it is because you are dehydrated.

9. What wine were you drinking?
I usually have a couple of glasses of wine a week

I'm very discriminating which is probably why I don't feel like shit the next morning

11. Chardonnay gives me a headache anyway. Here's a hint:
No matter what,; 2 glasses wine = 1 8oz glass water.
Works for me every time.

17. Or for a lightweight, 1 glass of water for each glass of wine.
Not only keeps you hydrated but it fills some stomach space and slows down the wine consumption.
