DUer DainBramaged needs some good thoughts.

Last Friday, DB had emergency surgery at a hospital here in NJ to remove a tumor that was causing major vision loss. He was released on Monday and by his own words, "This was a very difficult recovery...You never know what kind of a trip you are going on in life, but getting beat up like this is difficult."

He won't be back online full time for a while, but I'll point him to this thread.

Too late in life fecklessness's and anxiety. FIVE major surgeries in 7 years 20 day period. 2 to the brain of Dain. This one was difficult, This was because a 3.5cm tumor had hemorrhaged my pituitary gland and was threatening to split it, causing me a dirt nap.

If I had not lost the sight of my right eye a month ago, I would not be here.

Saturday was the best day I've had in 5 years and if felt great. Controlling the side affects is another matter. Which are still minimal I might add.

In spite of steroid therapy, my weight is down from 206 clothed to 190 lbs.



I just want to eat soft ice cream soon.
