Colts vs Patriots: Getcha Popcorn Ready!
I say Colts by 10. But who knows?

Game time: Sunday at 4:15 PM eastern.

This will be the first time in NFL history two teams with 7-0 or better records have met. (http://www.nfl.com/)

Game will be played in Indianapolis.

Who else is going to be watching?

2. Pats by 3 touchdowns.....
19-0 and Belichick leaves.

Those last 2 courtesy of Mike Greenberg.

5. The preview will be much better
Jacksonville at New Orleans. Every indication is that there will be no cheating conducted at this game and afterwards one can walk to or take a cab to the French Quarter to hang out in one of the many great watering holes on Bourbon Street, all with large screen TVs. And there will be three bowl games in New Orleans this college football season including the Big One.

6. Not a huge football fan, but

in week 1, we heard that the Pats were a tainted team who only won through cheating.

I honestly dislike the Patriots, but commented here in the Lounge at the time that I thought all the outrage in the "Sports World" was mock outrage because I was almost positive that every team out there does similar - but that maybe the Patriots were a bit less subtle and got caught by a coach who dislikes Bellichek.

Yet, despite their supposedly tainted past and winning through cheating, they've pretty much kicked everybody's ass this year - and they're probably under a pretty serious microscope when it comes to video taping the opposition.

Are the Pats still winning through cheating?

8. No
they're clean.

And yes, they are under a microscope.

And yes, they are still wiping the floor w/ all their opponents.

I do expect the Colts to put up a fight this weekend, but the Pats will win. They are playing PERFECT ball. Neither their offense or their defense, or even their special teams have a flaw to be found.

And except for the last time these two teams met, it seems that when they play Manning's favorite receivers wear Pats uniforms.

9. I don't care about the Patriots but I hope they win

Because the fact that the team in Indianapolis is still called the "Colts" and that Payton Manning was just lauded for breaking a "Colts team record" belonging to one Johnny Unitas, is a crime against nature.

I have no problem whatsoever with the fact there is a NFL team in Indianapolis. I've never been to Indianapolis, but I'm sure it's a great city. However, that being said, there is no team called the "Colts" in Indianapolis. The Colts ceased to exist in March 1984 when Mayflower moving vans pulled out of the Baltimore Colts practice facility in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Unless/until Indianapolis stops wearing a blue horseshoe on its helmet and stops calling itself the Colts, I will never, ever root for the Indianapolis NFL team as long as that is the case. No exceptions.

10. Here, Here!
The Colts should have left the name in Baltimore. The Ravens should be the Colts, and the Colts should be, I don't know, the Racers or something.

The Ravens did the right thing by letting Cleveland keep the Browns identity.
