ASK ME ANYTHING! Ghost Hunter's 6 hr long "live" broadcast is...
putting me to sleep....
I have decided that if you want a good nights sleep... this is the program to watch. It's live if you are on the East Coast... So far... 2 hours and 1 minute into it... I didn't miss anything that my friends over on the East Coast got to see first.

To sum this up... It is a couple of people, (people may vary) walking around in the dark, talking about how if they see something it will be really cool.

I want to push the panic button... But I am too tired.

1. This was the worst ghost hunters ever.
I may have to quit watching the show.

2. a live episode is almost bound to fail
think about it, how many episodes have they left a site not seeing or hearing anything, but then find something when they review all the footage AFTERWARD. they rarely catch anything on camera for the viewers while they're still at the site. I saw the first 2 hours of it, but i'll be waiting for the condensed version to come out that includes the review of ALL the tapes.

3. I let it run and run
and go on.... and on. The two women who were together were total dingbats. They just strolled around talking to each other without so much as a breath of silence... The ghost of Frank Zappa could have been hippity hopping between them and screaming and those two would have missed it. Then later.... one of them had dowsing rods and was saying "if you can...make the rods cross...then we will know you are there..." this went on for a good 10 to 15 minutes with no response... It was brutal.

I taped the last hour and 20 minutes... I should have gone to sleep way before that. What an idiot I am.

If they don't catch anything it will not surprise me in the least.

4. Well, I did see the part at the beginning
where they got "something" to move a ball around. Of course, they didn't capture the ghost when it moved the ball 20-something feet, but they were able to get something to make it wobble a bit on camera. That was cool.

5. Since there is no glass in
the windows and the doors are all open... maybe... just maybe it was the movement of the air????

I want actual pictures of a see-through person standing there... something.

14. Agreed - that ball thing was terrific

The ball also moved on command. I expected more at Waverly Hills Sanatorium, supposedly one of the most haunted places in the country. Maybe we'll see more during the reveal show. I would put this episode slightly above the Stanley Hotel episode due to the creepiness of the place, the fact that you never knew what was darting around, and because they had a few more experiences (even if the audience did not.)

7. I loved the wrestler they had with them.
He went screaming down the hall toward the end. That was hilarious.

8. He certainly
added a great deal of credibility. He saw something every 30 seconds... "absolutely, I kid you not!" Yikes.....

12. I loved that he was talking smack before they started
investigating. He said something like "Waverly Hills is going to experience something it's never seen!" or something to that wrestler effect.

I knew he would end up freaking out by night's end.

And then he ran like a scared puss when something just brushed against him.

9. The two girls together were a bust.
All they did was sit on their asses and talk. Come on when you are investigating you have to move around and listen. One of them was one that got into a screaming fight with Brian at the Library that night, and I think that is why they did not catch anything at that library.

16. I hope Grant and Jason see this and never take them again.
It was pathetic, it seemed like the only reason they were there was to get their faces on TV.

10. Some of the previews for the new shows looked good.
I didn't enjoy this live hunt near as much as last year's. There was stuff going on all over the Stanley Hotel that you could hear. Especially that little girl in the tunnels saying "hello" and giggling. That was cool.

I cannot stand those two girls that were hunting together. They didn't do jack squat and then gave that wannabe hunter a ration of shit for at least trying to conduct an investigation. :eyes: I really really wanted to crawl through my television and bang their heads together. I wouldn't show myself to those women if I were a spirit either.

I'm looking forward to the findings and new episodes. I hope they pick someplace cool to do the next live hunt and with better people on the team.

13. I enjoyed it
The ball moving was equal to the girl's voice at the Stanley IMO. I think with that soundtrack, there was a lot that the audience couldn't hear. They should modify or get rid of that soundtrack. It seems like the investigators had a lot of minor and moderate experiences that only they could know about - the couple of weird sensations and the shadows. I hope the wrestler goes again - he was fun. I really like and developed a crush on Kris. The two women together were downright rude to Pat, as he was one of 3 chosen out 25,000 - he deserves credit for that.

17. I recorded it, so I'll just fast forward through it looking for good bits...
kind of stands to reason the live show would be a bit on the boring side... they do a seven-or-so-hour investigation usually, and edit that down to a 15 minute segment.

I'll still watch...

18. Just got around to watching the last few hours on VCR tape today.

Programmed till about 2:00 a.m. It cut out about where Jason was following a light down the hall and told Grant to "stay". Poor Grant. It sounded like Jason was commanding his dog.

Then Grant heard metal banging. Did anything exciting happen after that?

Did they reveal who won the contest as the next "Ghost Hunter" or is that next week during the "evidence" show?

I liked the scrapbooking lady the best, then the warrant officer, then the radio guy. Dustin and Kristen should have let the scrapbook lady try her hand at EVP work, JMHO.

I also agree with everyone who said the two women paired together were totally annoying and not investigating as much as they were talking.

Also I kind of miss Brian. The team dynamics including all the little spats were part of the drama as much as the ghost hunting, and without Brian, there just doesn't seem to be as much going on in regards to that level any more.

I'll keep watching though because I really like both Jason and Grant.

19. Most Haunted Live sucked this year too.
But at least they always bring that cute chubby psyhic David Wells along. He's at least entertaining.
