Post a video by the Fall. I'll start with the definitive Fall performance:
Tempo House

I'm glad somebody finally posted this, because I have been too lazy to digitize my copy from VHS.

1. Since I am such a braggart asshole, I will mention
that that is pretty much the exact Fall line-up I saw, plus Brix and Dave Ball, some twelve years later on the autumnal equinox.

10. Yay!
Along with the Stranglers' "Dead Loss Angeles" and a couple others, that song provided the soundtrack to my Paxil/Alcohol nervous breakdown at the Standard Hotel on Sunset Boulevard.

I should have accepted all those screenwriting jobs that were offered during that tender 72 hours.

11. "I am kurious oranj" is sadly the only Fall record I have...
And I can't find the full video of "Big New Prinz" on youtube. There's one with a short review near the beginning and some live versions. You already know this if you're a fan :)

12. Well, that's a good record to have.
Love the Michael Clark dancers on "Big New Prinz."

13. They actually showed Big New Prinz on MTV. That's where I "found out"
about The Fall. I'm still impressed to this day by that record.

14. I remember the first time I heard it, right after it came out.
I was shopping at the Olsson's Records off Dupont Circle in Washington, DC and one of the many local punk rock luminaries who worked there put that record on. I was hooked after the first verse of the title track. So great.

17. :)
An online friend of mine uses a screen name that includes "brix"... for the longest time I imagined she looked like Brix Smith. :D

18. Funny, that's what I think when I see your friend's name listed.
I got to interview Brix on the telephone once for this music rag that used to exist in my little town. She is a terrific interview subject, and I ended up getting the cover story that week with stacks of the magazine prominently displayed at the entrances to the club where the band played.

That was one of my favorite shows ever: the Fall on the "Middle Class Revolt" tour. MES was being his usual odd self, and left it to Brix to sing "Hey! Student." She was fantastic.

19. Wow...
That's all so cool... the interview, getting the cover, and seeing them... wowee.

The online Brix is gorgeous, too. :)
