There is no cheap wine left anywhere in the metro area, but it was worth it. The little fuckers are all gone.

The cheaper the better, the sweeter the better. Put some into small ramekins and they will all drown.

Plus, the ones that don't are too intoxicated to fly away, so a little spray with 409 and it's all good, baby.

11. A mason jar with a paper funnel in the top works also. Put some of the wine and a couple slices of

banana in the bottom of the jar before inserting the funnel. Scotch tape the funnel to the mouth of the jar to keep the little buggers from sneaking out around the sides of the funnel. Works like gangbusters. The banana is very fragrant and will draw them in from some distance.

6. how long did that take?

our little kitchen compost heap gets really gross with them sometimes. I've been using an empty yogurt carton with holes poked in the lid and a piece of banana in it. The stupid little things go in but they can't figure out how to come out. After a couple days I toss the whole thing. I bet the wine works faster though and probably smells better :). I'm definitely trying that next time we have a problem!

The wine works if you leave some in the bottle as well. They can get in, but they can't get out.
