Anybody know about top loading washers?

My teeny apartment sized top loading washing machine just started making a clunky noise, like it was off balance, while in the spin cycle. By the time I got to it and opened it, the tub inside was tilted about 30 degrees off of vertical. I've taken the clothes out, but can't figure out how to get the basket to be straight up again. :-/

1. Time to call the landlord - that's what I would do, anyway.

I wouldn't trust myself to "fix" something that major.

But, who knows - someone who knows what the hell they're doing might post in here and say "Ah, all you gotta is lift it up a bit and it right itself - it's easy."

I'm hoping it's something easy, like "oh, flip the blibbety-bloo with a screwdriver and balance out the feet, it'll run like a top".

3. Google the make/model with words like "DIY" and "repair"

and take a look, you'll be surprised at what is out there. At least you might get an idea of how broken it is.

I did that one with my machine (it wasn't agitating) and found it was a little bitty part that I got off ebay for a couple bucks, and did it all myself with just a screwdriver (and Google).
