Alright, let me get this over with by simply asking,
why in the hell are people in such a goddamn hurry all the time?!?
This guy looked like his head was gonna explode last night because I lost my atm card and had to write a check for groceries... and it's been so long since I did it I seem to have forgotten how to do it! LOL!
This person obviously was in a hurry... I don't know... maybe he was hungry or something. But why the eff wouldn't he have had at least a chance to grab a snack or something like the rest of civilization do when we're feeling peckish?!
And if you're going to continue to blow your top cause you forgot to get yourself a snack or something, how about at least not being so obvious with your scorn and derision? Gah! I already felt bad enough after not realizing I'd lost my card till the total was rung up!
15. Yeah: the check-out counter is a bleaker place now
That I can no longer follow the adventures of Bat Boy and the Alien Baby.
What I can't understand is the people who honk at you in the drive-throughs of fast food places. Take a few seconds to count your change, or check your order, and some jerk in a monster SUV is bound to hit the horn. It's not as if they'll get their tacos or monster burgers any faster: they'll still have to wait once they get to the window.
Actually I have cooled my heels on always being in a hurry recently. Maybe it is the zen like state that running has put me in maybe I have just succumbed to the re-education of a society where no one ever acts up anymore. That being said I wouldn't accept checks if I ran a business- a "promise" that you have money??? Nowadays????
