4. I thought the non-Fenway version was called "Yankee Franks"
at Waldbaum's in Westport, Conn., circa 1975, the two were right next to each other in the deli case. (Yes, my Mom moved us to New England in the summer of '75. Gee, thanks, Mom!) They appeared to be virtually identical. :eyes:

Then there is the strange story of the Reggie! candy bar. That was Jackson, obviously; I'm not even sure R. Bush had been born yet. It was a bar with, I believe, caramel, in a distinctive patty (rather than bar) shape. After a while, the makers of Reggie! realized that, for some strange reason, they weren't moving any product at all in New England. And thus was born... the Yaz! bar. (Both went away shortly thereafter. They weren't bad, actually, but that patty shape must have confused people.)
