I have been able to watch YouTube videos with routine frequency. Up until yesterday. I am running Firefox.

I get a message that I either have Javascript turned off, or I need the newest version of Adobe Flash Player. So I try and install the newest Flash Player, and shut down FF and still I get this message.

5. firefox had me update java a couple of days ago..

maybe you need the update; it's version 1.6.0

Uninstall FlashPlayer: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=1
Download the MOST recent FlashPlayer for your system
Reinstall the new FlashPlayer
Restart

8. Turn the computer upside down

bang it until it coughs up all the smoke. Restart. That should do it.

give the back of the monitor a big whack! works every time. no problems with my fox it was updated several days ago..
