I may be wrong here, but it might have been smart to keep him instead of trading him.

Also Tony Conigliaro. What might have been. And Dick Radatz, the Monster.

Plus he comes with Mirabelli, which isn't always a good thing for the lineup. Tek's hitting a little better now.

17. This is going to get me flamed...
Current favorite? Curt Schilling. How can I not root for an obnoxious, loudmouthed forty year old (who likes Barack Obama)? Besides, he's one of the greatest clutch pitchers in the history of the game.

Boyhood favorite? Fred Lynn, one of the most exciting players ever. Solid offensively, and a balls-to-the-wall defensive outfielder.

34. Uh, MLB does have revenue sharing
it's called the luxury tax, and last time I checked, the Yankees paid a huge amount of money into it. It's too bad that there's no rule mandating that the shared money is to be reinvested into the other teams rather than just lining their owners' pockets.

53. Arroyo hit A-Rod with a pitch.
It was an ACCIDENT. A-Rod, being the whiny fucking asshole he is, started talking shit to Arroyo as he walked to first. Tek got between them, they started trashtalking to each other, and the whole thing ended in a bench-clearing brawl. I think he and A-Rod both got suspended for 4 games and fined. This was the WS year (I mean, OTHER than this one, heh.)
