My 11-month old hath the power to assume a pleasing shape
But don't be fooled! He's a devil, especially when he decides that his day should begin at 4:00 am.

1. You mean...
the day doesn't begin at 4:00 a.m.?

He's beautiful!

Well, it did this morning
He sleeps like an angel about three nights out of every week. But during those other four, his true nature creeps to the surface.

Good thing he's cute, or we'd have put him to work in the salt mines by now!

2. He's a devil?
Surely you must have a lot of upkeep filing off those horns because I don't see a trace of them. Nice job!

(oh he is so sweet! I hated that o'dark thirty crap too. On the bright side, before long you'll be dragging him out of bed so he isn't late for the school bus. :) )

7. The horns are only visible by moonlight
His brother sleeps as though hibernating, so I'm hopeful that this one will overcome his slumber-aversion before too much longer...

15. I hate to tell you but
I have both a hibernator and an early riser. My early riser hasn't aged out yet. He's five now so I'm confident that in ten years he'll be snoozin til noon.

The relief will come when he's old enough to get up and putter around by himself. But that's a guarded relief. My early riser has gotten into some seriously scary stuff while being up at the unholy o'dark thirty hour.

My best advice: put the knife block in a cabinet with a kidproof lock. :)

4. Oh, sure, they look all cute sniffing flowers in their little overalls
with their little chubby cheeks and cute little arms and legs that you want to nibble on.

That's how they reel ya in and get ya with their witching ways.

I'm almost tempted to accuse him of false advertising!

11. Thanks! We give him special pills to make him that way.
Costs a bundle, but it's worth it!

What a cute little guy. I think we should have little kids threads on DU, along with the kitty and dog threads.

13. Hugs
Cute little fellow! I adore tiny children. My kid is 12 now and I can't fuss over her like I used to, she tells me to scram.

16. Awww.... He does look like a cutie.
There are very few curses as effective as a child that's a morning person. :(

Of course, I generally think of morning people as inherently evil to begin with.
