USB Flash Drive recommendations? (Manufacturer, etc.?)
I'm finally going to take the plunge and get a flash drive bigger than the 128MB drive my employer gave me a few years ago. Anybody have any recommendations? I'm thinking about going for a 4GB. I've had pretty good experience with SanDisk products (cards for my Palm and my synthesizer). Thoughts?
1. I like the Cruzer Mini, or Cruzer Micro. Both small enough to fit in tight USB ports.
I think SanDisk makes the Cruzer line, too. I bought a 1GB for about $70 a couple of years ago, and now I see that they have 4GB for around those prices. www.newegg.com is a good place to shop for 'em. Quick shipping and the prices are usually the lowest, or close to it.
3. Amazing how those things have changed since they first came out.
First ones had about as much storage space as the harddrive on my old Tandy 286... now they've got more than my old Pentium had... pretty soon they'll catch up to my old Pentium 2... and then to the one I've got now. :P
