Rubber band man commercial
That rubber band man comercial for Staples Office Max Depot (its the same store right?) want leave me alone. I have it stuck in my brain, and I still drop everything to watch it.

My favorite part is when he restocks the First Aid station when the one guy is being careless with the paper cutter.

Anyway, I think I am addicted to commercials that use 70's music. Thats September commercial from the gap using Earth Wind and Fire had me hooked too.

1. The ones that use old black and white to mimic 50s TV are a kick to me.
Have you seen the one with the blonde boy and 'Lassie' look alike being stalked by the cougar? Havocdad laughed so hard he almost keeled over!

6. Many are works of modern art
I have been known to record the Superbowl so I can fast forward through the game and watch the commercials.

Not this year though. (Oh, well, maybe watch the commercials just to write the sponsors and let them know I am boycotting anyone who supports CBS after the censorship of ads promoting viewers take a look at the debt malAdministration policies are saddling future genetations with.)

Welcome to the DU lounge, Gadave :hi:

3. I'll have to watch for that...
I loved the Lassie one where Lassie is beset by family members crying "There's a fire in the barn!" "Stampede!" "Timmy's been kidnapped by circus folk!" and lots of other crises...and so the collie relocates to the home of a Eurotrash heiress where she lounges on a satin pillow and is told "Finish your caviar."
