I rented a couple of his stand up routines on tape. About the best use of history in comedy (right up there with George Carlin) that I've ever seen.

The man's a genius. Saw him in concert a few months ago. The spotlight operator apparently kept snoozing on the job, because he failed to keep the light on Izzard (like he could move too fast in those ridiculous heels or something). His responses to that happening repeatedly for the whole damn night were almost impossibly charming. He's one of the greats.

Oh, and before I forget: "Slut Bunwalla."
