While an affair is great for the two having it.
Chances are it isn't so fun for those being cheated on.

I worked for a couple who lived at Ocean and Kennebec... across the street from the LB Museum of Art... loved that old house! I had a small part in assisting them restore the grand old craftsman.

This is the first I've heard of that sign... ugh... I agree with the guy from Long Beach. Tacky as all hell.

Multi-million dollar homes... my buddies/bosses bought theirs for $75k in 1980; it was going to be condemned. They saved its life:) Their heirs surely made a ton of money off it, I certainly hope so! The time and love that went into it was astounding.

Long Beach has many very posh neighborhoods, with slums on the borders. The weird part is, if you buy in the ghetto areas, you STILL pay through the nose! And you get gunshots and graffiti thrown in for free! Yippee... :sarcasm:

I personally have no tolerance for cheating or cheaters. If one is unhappy in a marriage, seek counseling or get a divorce. Committing adultery, breaking your marriage vows, is wrong.

28. Good for business though, if you can convince people that....
affairs are normal, necessary, and expected and most importantly, that you need a dating service to arrange the affair.

There are two general approaches to advertising. The first is convincing someone who wants a product that you make or sell to buy yours and not a competitors. The other more difficult process is to convince people they need something that they are not interested in, such as an affair arranger. If you can sell the sizzle, the price of the steak is irrelevant.

It's not my cup of tea, and though it may be bad it's better than lying about being married, then stringing someone along and playing with their head when you are married and have no real intention of ever getting divorced.

This is more blatant, but at least the people posting personal ads seeking affairs on that website will hopefully be more upfront about their intentions, rather than lying and saying they are single, separated or divorced.

Wasn't there a survey about dating services and how a lot of the people there are actually married, but claim not to be? At least the person is going in knowing that the person is married.

When I was younger, I met a few women that I liked quite a bit that turned out to be married. At least I would not have wasted my time with them if I had known up front.

It's still not fair to the spouse, though.

Still, I'm sure there are mitigating circumstances, at times. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of the person who thinks an affair is a good way to "meet their needs". It very rarely works out that way, you know. Life is just not that simple...not that easy (IMHO).

No.

But there should be and/or probably is stipulations for couples with community property and children. If they have none and want to walk away....so be it.
