OMG... what is it with TV these days?

For a while, it was actually good: Scrubs, the Office, My Name is Earl, Lost, Grays Anatomy, Ugly Betty, Heros....

Now it's Bionic Woman, Chuck, Carlos Mencia, and other such vomit-worthy shows.

I could never stand The Office, or Earl, although I usually like Jason Lee, and I never really watched any of the others you mention.

I think all of the shows you mentioned are still on, but I think I am going to go back to swearing off of TV after Monday.

especially that which relies on brute force or physical prowess. I just grew up watching and playing football, so it has a certain appeal. Before that game, there was a gymnastics competition on that channel, and I did not get drawn into watching that.

15. I used to laugh out loud

during family guy but ever since the return from cancellation the show has been mediocre. The original writers save mcfarlane moved on to other projects. Simpsons had the same problems in it's 5th-6th seasons.

Scrubs: Lame, not funny

The Office: not as good as UK

My Name is Earl: complete and utter crap made famous by sledgehammer-over-the-head ad campaign. Annoying actors.

Lost: was good but now sucks. Hope J.J. does well on the Star Trek movie

Gray's Anatomy: Has sucked, does suck, always will suck from now until the end of time. A detriment on american art. If someone gave me a time machine the first thing I would do is go back in time and make sure this never gets made.

Heroes: is awesome! Hope they don't fuck it up this year.

Bionic Woman: remaking something that sucks will still suck.

Carlos Mencia: has some funny moments but is mostly garbage. Mencia takes himself way too seriously.

...the good old days were much like "these days"...My Mother the Car, the (Original) Smothers Brothers Show--Tom as an angel...???--the Original Bionic Woman, The Doris Day Show--which, to her credit, no one hated more than she did...crooked quiz shows...honest quiz shows...an endless, depressing list...it wasn't called a "vast wasteland" for nothing...
