I drive a Ford Windstar van.

If I pull the seats I can get eighteen 4*8 sheets of plywood/drywall in the back, pile a bunch of other stuff on top and still close the tailgate. With the seats in I can transport 7 people in style and there's still room behind the back seat for several large suitcases. I can also tie crap (eg queen-size mattresses) to the roof. Granted, if I floor it with that kind of load I'm either gonna blow the head gasket or rip out second gear and the brakes have been described as "do you feel lucky today?" but it gets me around.

I'm waiting for something to compile here at work so I'm looking out at the parking lot and there's some of the damndest looking vehicles out there. My prize goes to the big-ass pickup trucks with the shorty-short boxes. There's barely room for a single toolbox back there. They wouldn't be able to bolt a fifth-wheel mount on it so they're not for hauling and they seat two - badly. They're so high off the ground you climb a ladder to get into them and they won't fit in some parkades.

Something like this:

but shorter box, wider and taller.

:wtf:
