1. It's impossible to do that. You'll break the time/space continuum.
You're supposed to buy a new vacuum, dumbass.

2. you should have looked at the bag..
...and gotten the model off it. For example, my current Dirt Devil uses a Dirt Devil U bag.

However, you should be able to find a package of replacement bags just by the model number of the vaccuum itself.

What brand is your machine?

6. you won't break it by finding the brand.
Look at the machine. What brand is it? Let's start there.

4. You can probably look up your vacuum manufacturer's website
and find the info you need there.

9. Just right down your make & model number
and check the company website, be it Oreck or Hoover or whatnot. It should then give you a style of vacuum bag to get for your vacuum cleaner.

12. but if he goes to a vaccuum store with make and model in hand...
...he'll have it immediately. No sweat. Or if he orders off the internet, he'll have in a couple of days.

15. Try this place:
www.onlinevacshop.com

Left side has the list of vac. manufacturers.

I use them and have had good quick service. Even if you don't order from them, you should be able to get your bag number.

17. I hate my bagless vac
The filters cost freaking $30 to replace, and they need to be replaced often. You can't really clean them. Once they get too used, the vacuum starts spewing dust back out. It's been nothing but a hassle since I got it - I'm saving up money to get a Dyson. Let me warn you again: DO NOT BUY A BAGLESS VACUUM.
