Two boys have been suspended for bringing TINY GI JOE guns to school. School officials comment, "We don't want anything that might make our students feeling unsafe." Ooh. I just got shot with a GI Joe gun. No wait, that's an itch. Please God, will the lunacy ever end? These people need to be locked up. Why is common sense such a rare comodity these days?

2. On TV we glorify

the 'war' on Iraq. The U$ flaunts its 'superior' weapons.
And they dare suspend 2 kids for doing what the propaganda tells thme.
When I went to school, if you brought a toy to school, the nuns confiscated them and gave them to poor children.

3. Toy guns do not belong in school

perhaps suspension was a bit harsh, but I hate toy guns. As a staunch, pro-Second Amendment, pro-gun liberal I think toy guns are terrible because they suggest to children that guns are toys and not deadly weapons. Children who play with guns do not learn proper respect for firearms. Amid all the recent hysteria over accidental gun deaths, I bet many could have been prevented if parents would not buy their children toy guns.

My friend once brought his soft Airgun to school it looked EXACTLY like a automatic pistol..

6. Well to begin with, they're about an inch and a half long

if they belong to the full size GI Joe. For the 3" GI Joes, the guns are approximately a centimeter or less.

My husband collects Joes. We have the damn little things all over the house. They are so small, our cats could pick up two in their mouths and run off with them.
