4. Just like back home in MA.
Worcester sounds more like RI than Boston. The Bershires sound like up-state NY.

27. We took the back way
out the quarter last weekend, went down St Claude to whatever it turns into to Paris Road then out to I-10. Its coming along rather nicely except for the Orleans Parrish part.

Either of the Carolina's, GA, TN....sigh.

Scouse, Mancunian, Yorkshire (several varieties), Lancashire, Geordie, Mackem, Cumbrian...

Just got the join in the fun about hair-splitting over accents.

Or is lack of an accent an accent in itself?

So unfair.

I'd fall in love with the girl checking me into the hotel, the girl at the coffeeshop, the girls at work...I'm a complete sucker for a female southern accent...putty in their hands.

inbound phone calls @ work.

sort of caramely in a way.

I call it "Dentist Chair English", (although in the actual DCE accent, it's pronounced "Nenthisf Pshair Ngfifth")

32. On women, I've been a sucker for a British accent for years. Failing that...probably Cali/NW.
My whole family (minus 2 members) is from the South, so Southern accents are right out for me.

33. What does Southern Atlantic sound like....?
I live in SE Va where the natives say "A-boat" instead of About. (only example I can think of)

But I voted New England as sexiest since I married a guy who sounds like a Kennedy :)
