to have their conversations?

Years ago I had a office with a door.

Then the school decided to rennovate all it's office buildings and it put us pee-ons out in the hall way.

Now, the faculty and the students come walking through the doors and stop dead in their tracks and hold all their conversations right there. I often cannot hear the person on the other end of the phone, and I always have my concentration broken.

It's insane.

Maybe since they like talking in the hall so much, the faculty should sit in cubes out in the hall and the staff can have offices with doors....

1. maybe everyone figures that if you listen to the faculty conversing
some of the knowledge would be soaked up by the pee ons. just a thought.
