I have the opportunity to tour Costa Rica
An 8 day eco-tour. What does the Lounge think? Remodel an outdated kitchen or take the family to Costa Rica?

1. My dear Generic Brad...
Well, I think I'd rather tour Costa Rica than redo an outdated kitchen! You want to make sure if you need any special vaccinations or things of that sort... But that sounds like a really great trip... Plus, imagine all the wonderful photo ops!Go! :bounce: :bounce:

But it has been a decades since I have been anywhere near the equator. In fact, my kitchen was originally built right around that time.

Just 20 year old appliances in a galley kitchen with dark brown formica and one broken cabinet. The trip to Costa Rica, however, would be new.

6. As someone who loves to cook
and has been to lots and lots of places... I, myself, would do the kitchen -- I would have to be practical...
