Why isn't my pop-up blocker working? This is the third time that Bush

You picked up spyware, somewhere, unintentionally.

3. To remove spyware...

go to http://www.pcworld.com go to downloads and download spybot or one of the other spyware removers.

on edit - you could also download pest patrol (both are good spyware removers and they are free)

6. Change your browser too

install mozilla . It will block all those annoying popups. But you can allow certain sites' popup screens (like for shopping online) when you need to.

and that pop-up thing is so easy to work with, right in the bottom status bar

I get NO pop-ups unless I want them, adjustable for each addy, INSTANTLY !

However I forgot to ask: are the pop-ups appearing when you browse certain pages, or are they appearing completely unrelated to your surfing?

They've shown up whenever I've come here...or gone to Yahoo...or my hotmail account.

I've downloaded and installed spybot. It's working beautifully so far.
