3. Cashews.
we have a long running debate in my house over which is the king of nuts, i say the king or queen if you like is cashews, my daughter and husband say peanuts. Peanuts are the court jester.

11. Peanuts are a seed from a legume and technically not a nut
(I am also a lot of fun at parties.) Cashews just aren't crunchy enough for my tastes. Pistachios are my favorite. In the shell, so you can't eat them too fast.

I love pecans because they remind me of the tree in my yard when I was little but really any kind is just delicious!

...until I'm utterly sick. Macadamias too. :-)

Try roasting some walnuts with some chopped fresh herbs, sea salt and a little olive oil or butter. Yum. :-)
