What song makes you turn the radio up every time?
Lately it's "Amsterdam" by Guster. Also, whenever "Self Esteem" by Offspring comes on, I crank it up and bellow along (I have a terrible voice). Love that song.

How's about you?

79. Thats funny, got pulled over for peeling out my car 3 am NewYears eve
or New Years morning, got a road sobriety test and passed, asked why I peeled out..it was that Mamma Mia was on the radio and it reminded me of a my best friend when I was 8, cop was totally cool and let me go.........trust me I was shaking in my shoes, I had had 3 beers one shot and a swig of champange over about 4 hours and had stopped drinking about 2 hours before I was pulled over.

42. Cuuuuuuz
it kicks ass over the studio version. CT is best live. They are a band you have to see live to really appreciate. You're not supposed to sit around listening to CT albums, you're supposed to go see them live. That's why they are still touring after all these years. That's why "Live at Budokan" was the album that made them a household name back in the 70's and not many people knew of them before that. I've probably seen them a dozen times but I can't say I sit down and listen to their studio albums much.

Though if forced to pick their most enjoyable studio album, the Tom Werman produced "Dream Police" did capture them in their prime, and it wasn't long after 'Budokan' came out. But yeah, live is preferable with them.

80. Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil
I become a socially conscious head-banger whenever that song comes on.

81. "Wildest Dreams" by the Moody Blues and
"Hush" - Grand Funk Railroad.

Also just about anything by Led Zeppelin, most especially "The Immigrant Song".

84. Breakout --- Swing Out Sister
My 'get-off-your-ass' and 'do-something-about-it' and "be brave and get out of this bad relationship" inspiration theme song. I still love it.

89. I'm an oldie here
Don;t know half the songs you are mentioning. Mine is "do you want to dance with me?" Don't hear on radio or Tv anymore, but play it on our CD , when I do I find hubby and we dance , up close and personal. I cry and hold on tight, he's my best friend and lover and it just means so much to me. We are approaching our 70's, but still very young at heart!

90. I Know That Song!!
Or at the very least a song with that same title. Bette Midler sang it, but she was probably "covering" an old standard (as she does).

That's a great song!

P.S. I know what you mean about feeling out-of-touch when it comes to knowing the song titles and artists of recent years.
