1. Don't really know much about it - no-one in Oz has even heard of her unless they're avid Oprah fans

2. I'd prefer it to go to Mystic River but think it will go LOTR as you'd have to say Peter Jackson's work over the three films is pretty impresive. Sean Penn or Bill Murray for Best Actor - Jude Law can't act (AI anyone?) comedy's don't usually garner Oscars and I think Kingsley is an outside chance. If the award was for physical transformation then Charlize but good acting is abuot more than getting uglied, hopefully Naomi Watts can get her first.

I don't know. I've ignored her for so long I can't remember who she is.

Of course, I didn't see too many movies this year; about 3.

my "hundred acre wood" baseball cap to keep my hair from blowing around and my head from sunburn when I'm outside.
heavy duty harness to keep breasts in check while riding my horse.

And my big cotton sleepshirt and big terrycloth robe.

5. If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

A hawk; it flies high, looks down, and sees the "big picture."

It doesn't waste energy; it doesn't use its formidable arsenal unnecessarily. Makes a clean, quick kill when necessary. Helps control the rodent population.
