My new employer has RUINED one of the great new-guy jokes of all time!
Yes, I have a new job! (I'm keeping the old one just for a little while longer--I explained to the new boss the situation, and he's cool with it. But in three months or so...good bye orange!)

My new job is at a place in Lumberton, NC, that makes vehicle wraps. We print designs on self-adhesive vinyl (it looks very much like shelf paper, except it's 54 inches wide) using a huge inkjet printer, laminate the vinyl after it dries for a day or so, then stick the vinyl to the vehicle. Lots of fun, decent money, extremely low stress. Everything Home Depot is not.

Anyway, back to the new guy joke Trevor fucked up: In the Army we liked to send new people on these wild goose chases just for the hell of it. One of the more popular ones is "jet wash." Get me a gallon of jet wash, says the sergeant, and the poor dumbass private runs all over post looking for a gallon of jet wash. Well...the solvent Mutoh cleans the nozzles on the Toucan Hybrid printer we have is officially, as in "it's on the side of the jug," called Mutoh Jet Wash. And it comes in gallon jugs.

1. Don't worry...
...the "long stand" and "left-handed hammer" are still reliably non-existent, so new-guy pranks are safe for awhile longer.

3. Well there's always prop wash,
the left handed screwdriver, 10 feet of shore line, and the metric crescent wrench.

4. there's always the new guy in the office joke
where on your first day everybody in the whole office comes by, says hello, and then tries to dump one of their job responsibilities and/or unfinished projects on you....
