"African Queen" & "The Lion In Winter" on Turner Classics tonight
"The African Queen" is at 8 PM and "The Lion In Winter" is at 10 PM.

"The Lion In Winter" is awesome. Katharine Hepburn was GLORIOUS as Eleanor of Aquitaine. One of my favorite movies ever. Cast includes Peter O'Toole and Anthony Hopkins.

3. Oh, yeah, check out in the Lion in Winter
how they give each other wrapped Christmas presents. That whole movie makes me so mad I could spit. I don't care how good the casting is.

4. Why so much anger toward a movie? Because it's not historically accurate?
it's Hollywood and it's from the '60s.

Authenticity wasn't particularly rife within the studio system...

5. Bloody Sunday is on Sundance at 9....
An excellent film about the killing of Irish civil rights marchers in 1972,so that's what I'm watching. Those are two most excellent movies, though:)
