I was talking earlier today to a friend who was drinking coffee while we were talking. They have a 2-4 cup coffee pot and were going to make 2 cups... but the pot only made one cup because of steamage... I asked said friend how many scoops of coffee they had put in the filter, because that coffee was going to be strong.... They said 3 tablespoons!!!!! 3??? I said.... Isn't the coffee mud???? no they said
My question is..... How many scoops do you put in to make coffee????
I use the half rule, if I am making 10 cups I put in 5 scoops... my coffee has always been good..... just curious to see how different ways people make coffee.... and if they like it strong or weak??
and I just eye-ball it. I don't know if I'm putting too much in because I buy this fancy French stuff that taste like I'm straight shooting the grounds. I might try that table spoon thing, see if it makes a dif.
When I started drinking coffee in the army it wasn't "right" til the spoon dissolved while stirring. I have also noticed that it seems to be served much stronger in the northeast than in the midwest. Regional tastes, I guess.
