Well, actually they are half-pitbulls. If you sit down at my nephew's house, expect a lap full of very affectionate doggies!

4. It really is all about the owner, and history!
I had my first pug when I was seven years old. When I was in my early-20s, I had a boss (retired Master Chief, Navy) who was deathly afraid of the breed, because he was bit by one as a child. I've never so much as have a pug growl, much less as bite. Feeding time is a little dicey for some, but you can get around that.
