I live in Chicago, but I work out in the burbs. Tonight I was deciding what to pack for an upcoming trip to Italy so it's all laid out in the living room. As I was doing that, an idea came to me...
Tomorrow when I go to work, I think I'm going to throw that stuff in my backpack and put it in the trunk of my car. I'm also bringing our passports and other pertinent papers with me, as well as my laptop, external hard drive, and backup dvds.
I know it's totally tinfoil hat but a few DUers have got me kinda freaked out about tomorrow. Some have even specifically mentioned not wanting to be in Chicago.
It will probably turn out to be nothing, but I figure it can't do any *harm* to have a change of clothes and important papers with me at the office for a day. I actually need to photocopy the papers for the trip anyway (it's good to have photocopies of your passport and credit cards in case you lose them while traveling). And my laptop and hard drive fit in my messenger bag, so it's not a big deal to carry them around for a day.
Have I totally lost my mind?
