Yes, we are lucky. And, yes, do visit soon! Hawaii changes a little bit each year; and you will especially want to see Kauai and Molokai before they are over developed.

It's wonderful. I don't want to leave. Time is going by so quickly.

We barely have time to see and do everything we want to do... primarily because the pace here is so slow we just don't want to do anything quickly!

The people are very friendly here too... and seemed impressed when I showed interest in saving La' au. Leave it to me to get involved in politics in the first two days I'm in a place! lol :hi:

We are having a wonderful time! Today we explored a rarely seen part of Molokai (off road). And, you know me, I took a ton of pics. I've already used up two memory sticks! I think I'll wait until I get home to post any more though. Hope you are having a good week! :hug: :loveya: :hi:

18. You've inspired me to upload a few of my own

I just got back from nine days by myself on Maui (no one would go with me and I was paying for the hotel; my friends are insane). I had the loveliest time doing whatever I wanted every day. :)

My advice to anyone who thinks of going someday: GO. Just do it. Sell something, charge it, get a cheap trip on PriceLine or Expedia and just go. I never thought I'd be able to go, and one day I just said, fuck it, I'm going. I've gone three times now and I can't get enough. (And I'm still paying for the first time.)

But you can get some really cheap flights at the right time of year (now seems to be good), and if you go to Oahu and stay in Waikiki, there are dozens of inexpensive hotels, and every single hotel is gorgeous. It's paradise. It truly is. The hardest thing is going home; it tears your heart out to leave that beauty.
