Politics at work

I'd like to lay a major league ass whuppin' on some dickhead at work. I just started a new position at work working 4pm to 2am moving trailers around a distribution warehouse yard. There's a woman that comes in at 8pm and helps me out for four hours before going out on her trucking route. Well, one of the guys who works days moving trailers around, who used to do my job, has had it in for the woman who helps me out. He's been trying to dick her over for some time now.

So this guy tells me one day that the night yard job is not a 2 person job and he says this woman is going to get cut out of it. Then he tells me not to say anything to anybody. So this evening one of our supervisors comes out into the yard and tells us that she told the big boss that the 2nd shift yard position is not a 2 person job. Gee, I wonder where she heard that from. She then goes on to say that she recommended that I should start in the mornings hauling stuff around town for day shift, then at 4pm relieve the day yard drivers and work until my helper comes in at 8pm and then go home. We're talking a 14 hour day every fucking day. I flat out told her that I would not work that long. I also told her that there was still stuff to be done in the yard after my helper leaves. She told me she wouldn't work me that hard, but I know how this shit works. There's not a single day shift driver that puts in less than 13 hours a day and some as many as 15. I talk to those guys as they are finishing up their runs.

I'm going to call the big boss in the morning. Me and Mr. Dickhead are going to have a talk tomorrow afternoon.

I'm just going to tell it how it is. I don't talk shit about people at work and I sure as hell don't fuck with anybody's job. I expect the same from him.
