Ode to the Stiletto Heel
Yes I know these wreak havoc on a womans foot and leg, but beauty is not pretty.

1. Am I the only guy who doesn't find women in heels attractive?
I like the way their legs look normally, not when they're all stretched in an uncomfortable position.

...

Well, not when they're stretched in that one particular uncomfortable position. O8)

2. Each his own
I like a pair of bare feet as much as the next guy...but the stiletto heel has a certain beauty to it :)

3. I dunno, just doesn't work for me.
I don't mind a girl wearing tall shoes, I've dated enough short girls to get used to that. :) But the ones that stretch them in a weird way just make them look... uncomfortable.

8. No, you are not the only one.
I don't understand the appeal either. I'm prefer women in flip-flops or running shoes.

7. from what I understand
terrible for the foot and back, terrific for the leg.

However, I so long for the day when men's fashion depends upon some discomfort beyond wearing a tie. I wish you guys could get a better taste of what it's like to have to live with the "beauty is not pretty" attitude.

A taste of your own medicine is in order.

So I propose that next year's male fashion includes:

underwire boxer shorts
3- to 5- inch heeled, pointed-toe shoes
pants that have no pockets
pants that zip down the side instead of down the front
nylon underthings.... (I can just imagine how "the boys" will feel in material that doesn't breathe)

(And no, it's not all men's fault that women have to put up w/ this stuff. Women buy this stuff, so the fashion industry doesn't seem to have any reason to change their ways.)

13. But my legs don't look as good in heels
And what is the deal with the zippers on the side?

15. I ask that question all the time
apparently those who think that zippers belong on the side don't have "Twin Peaks" to reach around to zip up.

16. Although the women's fashion trend that is most illogical is the zipper in back
of the blouse...who can reach that far?

10. For years, I wore those things.
They made my legs look fantastic because those were the days of the micro-mini skirt. But now that my feet have been ruined, I dress for comfort. I love my Reeboks.

14. I wouldn't wear 'em
So I don't expect women to.

I love it when they do, but — hell, I get a backache when I wear my cowboy boots.

Only long enough to . . .

Ooops.

20. Not my cup of tea. Especially those boots on the bottom.
Guys should really be forced to wear something equally as uncomfortable and horrible for your body to be considered attractive. How many of them would do it?

25. Ugggh.
My heels hurt just looking at those.

Wearing uncomfortable--not just that, but truly painful--shoes for beauty is dumbassery. Why women tolerate all this nonsense is beyond me.

I put them on, stood up, and fell. Not even one step. Just call me Grace.
