I haven't heard this in a while, so thought this afternoon was a good time to remember the monotony of Paul Winter's entire Oeuvre by listening to one of his CDs.

It has a lot of good music in it; it's just that i could pull any CD of his at random and hear the same thing.

So what are you listening to?

4. My dear Rabrrrrrr...
Nothing at the moment...

Just the thoughts in my head...

I like to stream classical music at night...

It's as though my life has a soundtrack...

:hi:

5. Ah, the sound of silence - it is a good sound!
To enjoy the sounds that nature herself throws at us is, truly, music enough most times.

10. When Will I by Monte Montgomery
It was playing on my Pandora station. I'd never heard of him before, but he is a great guitarist. Nice vocals too. This is a live version from Austin City Limits off of the Mirror CD.

11. KXCI Community Radio Tucson - at the moment a semi boring music mix
Democracy Now! coming up at 3 my time.

You can stream if you would like to check it out http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/kxci/ppr/index.shtml

Starting at 6 is Latin Wednesday, Thursday evening is a good world music show - the guy actually travels and collects a lot of his music himself.

14. I'd fall asleep listening to that in the afternoon.
In NYC it played at 6 am on Sunday mornings, which was also difficult.

Cool show!

17. Just the Coast to Coast AM channel right now
Edited on Thu Sep-06-07 01:15 AM by mvd
I was at a couple MySpace pages: Kay Hanley's and Debbie Harry's. Both are among my all time favorite singers, and their new material does not disappoint! Unfortunately, I will probably have to wait until early 2008 for Kay's CD to come out.

I have a list of to-get music, and there are some CDs I am hoping go on the list before too long. Hoping for a new one from Brie Larson, who along with Mandy Moore and her self-titled CD, made a high quality teen pop CD. And I hope Whitney Steele finally has her full-length CD out soon.

Very interesting music theory podcast, assumes only the most basic previous knowledge without patronizing the listener.

21. Just discovered Joseph Spence, a Bahamian guitarist.
Apparently he was very influential on a generation of finger pickers. I'm trying to learn to play some of that stuff.
