The heatwave has broken, the heatwave has broken!!!
There is great rejoicing across the land!

:woohoo::woohoo:

I actually slept well last night for the first time in over a week.

1. There IS great rejoicing!
It broke sometime around 3 pm yesterday for us. It was (and is), I daresay, downright pleasant outside right now!

:woohoo:

3. We went out for a drive last night, and I swear I wanted to roll the window down
and stick my whole head outside like a puppy!

:woohoo:

2. Good.
Not having decent sleeping weather is just so wrong in California. No matter how hot, it's supposed to cool off by evening.

We had a nasty heatwave last summer like that and it's the only time we've run the A/C all night and all day.

4. That was killer last summer
We didn't have an A/C at the time and you could not get one anywhere for love or money. My place is usually about 10 degrees cooler than downtown LG but when downtown LG is at 102, that doesn't really help a lot. :eyes:

This past winter, I bought a portable A/C - we haven't used it yet but by golly, its there if I need it.

5. Yay! We're heading into a much better time of year.
Cooler, more pleasant... I love early autumn.

7. I'm in New York City.
Unfortunately, I won't get to see many fall colors, except in changing fashions. Concrete and steele rarely change color. :(

8. Yeah, but you are closer to fall colors than I!
Maybe a trip to Central Park?

We have deciduous trees here, but they do not seem to change color before they drop their leaves.

9. If Billyskank comes to NYC we'll have to take him to Central Park
to hang out and do some people watching. If it's warm, there will be some good eye-candy out. :)

And I don't know that tagging is necessarily seasonal.

12. That's a good question.
I don't know if it's more common at any one time of year.

I guess you'll just have to live with the lower temps and humidity for a while!

That nasty muggy 100 degree weather made me an utter bitch for the last week.
