Today was my productive day of the weekend
Besides doing 6 loads of laundry, I

swiftered the hall and the kitchen
dusted the kitchen and the living room
made a batch of mini-meatloaf (some are frozen for later consumption)
made homemade pea soup
vacuumed the living room chairs
vacuumed the living room floor
baked a strawberry/blackberry pie
made my own homemade rice/noodle bowls (stir-fry chicken and vegetables, some w/ rice, some w/ pasta, all done IQF)
kept up will all my dishes

and oh yeah, because the lanlord STILL hasn't fixed the water heater, I've been having to boil water for dishes, laundry, and even my bath--since about 2 this afternoon.

I'm exhausted (and sore as hell from helping someone move into a 3rd floor apartment yesterday).

I may need to have a few drinks tonight.

Tomorrow I'm taking my pie to a barbeque and I'm not doing anything that resembles work.

1. I salute you!
I haven't been nearly as productive, but I did play with kittens.

:-)

2. Wow...
I'm such a slug compared to you. ;)

If I were you, my next message to the landlord would be the one notifying him that you're contacting an attorney. Over 3 weeks without hot water is insane. :(

6. I branded 9 head of cattle with my younger son,
then made sarcastic joking comments while "helping" the husband diagnose what has now gone wrong with the van. Oh and surfed the web a bit.

10. beef
It's work, but when you have a good crew and or equipment it can go pretty fast and smooth. We have neither so since it is usually just two of us we do a few at a time - usually 5 or 6, so 9 (10 after this evening - we missed one this morning but got him done after it cooled off) was more of an accomplishment.

Now as I said a good crew and equipment and you could easily do 50 to 100 in a day, but then you (I!) would have to feed 20 people and various other hangers on, and have a clean house. The social aspect of that is nice but I am lazy and anti-social so there ya go!

8. Way to go!
For a second there the words started to blur and I thought you were talking about strawberry rice noodles.

9. I was thinking about you today.
I bought some of those Yankee candle Sand and sea reed diffusers. You were so right. They are awesome.
